A unique opportunity is available for a head chef looking for their next big challenge. We do things a little differently down at The Corner Dairy, we’re a neighbourhood bar but what we offer in our laidback venue from our taps to the table is premium beverage and really great food.
We’re looking for a head chef who not only can maintain the high level of dining that we’ve become known for, but wants to leave their mark on our little venue and add to our story. We’ve made our way into the top 100 in the WA Good Food Guide the last two years and last year were featured in Gourmet Travelers top restaurants in the country. While we’re a neighbourhood bar at heart it’s not just the locals that come here for the food.
This is a great opportunity for someone who’s looking for a slightly more laid back kitchen while still being offered the flexibility to be creative and put out some really high caliber food. We want somebody who’s excited to continue working with the great local producers we already have good relationships built with and who’s hungry to push what sort of food can be offered in a bar/dining setting.
We operate Wednesday to Sunday, serving dinner Wednesday & Thursday from 5 and lunch and dinner Friday through Sunday from 12. We have an enthusiastic team of 3 qualified and experienced chefs + 1 third year apprentice who are all fully capable of leading the charge and eager to support a new face in this role.
We can offer 90-95k negotiable for the right person + phone bill and bonuses, parking on site for management and generous venue discounts.
