FONI POLLITT OPERATIONS DIRECTOR Melbourne born Foni Pollitt DipWSET has spent her adult life travelling the world; drinking, tasting, teaching and loving wine. After leaving University she bought a one-way ticket to Italy and never looked back. Her career in hospitality began in the early 90’s and she’s worked extensively 
in London and Montreal delivering a finessed service from gastro pub to fine dining. 
In Montreal she was awarded the Wine Spectators ‘Award of Excellence’ with her wine list 
made up entirely of Greek Wines. 2018 has also witnessed a very successful year in Foni’s career, having recently been crowned Sommelier of the Year at the WA Good Food Guide Awards and also taking out the Best Wine list in Western Australia with the Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards. Also, in 2019 Mayfair Lane took home Best pub restaurant list in Australia with the Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards by Gourmet Traveller.
